What we collect

• Account: name, e-mail address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), time zone, language and currency.
• Learning profile (students, optional): level, goals and preferred times.
• Teacher profile: photo, introduction video, description, subjects, qualifications and supporting documents. Documents are private and seen only by our review team.
• Lessons: bookings, lesson notes, classroom messages, shared files, whiteboard content, reviews and reported problems.
• Payments: what you bought and paid, refunds and teacher payouts. Card details are handled by the payment provider only.
• Security: sign-in times, and the IP address and device used for administrative actions and security events.
• Consents: which version of each legal document you accepted, when, and from which IP address.

Why we use it

• To provide lessons: booking, reminders, the classroom and your progress.
• To handle money correctly, with financial records that cannot be altered.
• To keep the platform safe: verifying teachers, preventing fraud and abuse, protecting accounts.
• Optional AI help only processes the text needed for the feature you use.

Who else processes it

The payment provider, our e-mail service, file storage, the live-video service and, only when you use AI features, an AI provider. Each receives only what its task requires. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Account data: while your account is open.
• Lesson whiteboards: 365 days after the lesson.
• When you close your account, your profile, media, documents, messages and notifications are erased. Payment, lesson and ledger records are kept without your name for as long as accounting and tax law requires.

Your rights

Cookies
